Sucralfate (Coating Agent)
Sucralfate (Carafate) (Coating Agent) is a temporary medication that coats the stomach lining to heal ulcers, acid reflux, or GI irritation. It is given as a dissolved tablet or liquid for 5-10 days or longer if needed. It must be prescribed by a veterinarian and is filled at pet pharmacies.
